The truck comes standard with the 6.2L V8 that’s mated to the TorqShift® Heavy-Duty 6-speed SelectShift-G™ automatic transmission and can produce 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.

The available 6.7L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel engine is able to deliver 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. The Ford Super Duty also introduces the 7.3L V8. This engine can boast 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.

Super Duty Towing Capacity

If you need to haul some material to the jobsite or take the boat or ATV on your next weekend adventure, the Ford Super Duty offers some impressive towing abilities to help you along the way. At a maximum, with its basic configuration, the Ford Super Duty can tow up to 21,000 pounds. Its diesel configuration pushes its abilities to up to 24,200 pounds.

When you add the gooseneck configuration to the truck, it takes the Super Duty’s abilities even further. The diesel/gooseneck version can tow up to 22,800 pounds. The standard version with the gooseneck can tow up to 37,000 pounds!

2021 Ford Super Duty Cab & Bed Configurations

You can tailor your work truck to your needs. The Ford Super Duty has plenty of variations and configurations that allow more room for cargo or passengers.

There are three cab options to choose from. The Regular Cab offers enough room for three passengers in the first row with 40.8 inches of headroom and 43.9 inches of legroom. The Super Cab adds rear seating with 40.3 inches of headroom and 33.5 inches of legroom. The other option, the Crew Cab, offers more room for rear-seat passengers with 40.4 inches of headroom and 43.6 inches of legroom.

The Super Duty has two different configurations for the bed. The 6.75-ft box has 65.4 cubic feet of cargo space. The available 8-ft box has up to 78.5 cubic feet of space to utilize.
